The Foundation is committed to supporting talented individuals, even when their passions fall outside our typical focus areas. We believe that fostering creativity and innovation across diverse fields is essential.
A great example of this is our sponsorship of Michael Van Bellen, a former U.S. intelligence officer and promising writer. We’re proud to support him as he works on his debut book, “Reno Tangerino and the Fake Guru.”
The first book in a trilogy, “Reno Tangerino and the Fake Guru – The Test Drive,” introduces us to an American who, through a twist of fate, finds himself in the Soviet Union. There, he’s trained in the “Tenner,” the Special Overseas Operations Command, one of the Soviet Union’s most secretive programs. This isn’t a story of uniformed advisors or political figures; these are “no official cover” operations – missions designed to leave no trace, where agents couldn’t be linked back to Moscow, even in death.
